Year 2

Your First School Matters

Starting school is a significant transition—not only for children, but also for their parents. It is a time when we want to provide children with security, strong foundations, and a genuine love of learning, while allowing them to enjoy their childhood.

Kingsley School was created with young learners in mind—children who need a gentle introduction to education, meaningful relationships, and the space to grow, explore, and develop at their own pace.

We believe that the early years of education should nurture curiosity, confidence, and well-being, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning and future success.

What Makes Kingsley School Different?

A Safe Start in a Supportive Community

For a six-year-old, school is first and foremost about people and emotions. At Kingsley School, every child:
  • Feels seen, valued, and supported.
  • Builds meaningful relationships in a calm and welcoming environment.
  • Learns through exploration, play, and hands-on experiences.
We create a nurturing atmosphere where children feel confident, secure, and excited to learn every day.

A Natural Rhythm

Our hybrid model combines four days at school with one dedicated development day—a time for independent projects, pursuing personal interests, educational activities linked to the curriculum, rest, family outings, and the exploration of individual passions.
This approach:
  • Reduces stress and fatigue.
  • Supports the gradual development of independence and responsibility.
  • Gives children a greater sense of ownership and confidence in their learning.
It creates a healthy balance between structured education and the freedom children need to grow, explore, and thrive.

A Foundation for the Future

At Kingsley School, we focus on what truly matters at the beginning of a child’s educational journey:
  • Reading, writing, and numeracy skills
  • Social and emotional development
  • Curiosity, creativity, and the confidence to ask questions
  • Trilingual learning and communication
Without the pressure of grades. Without unnecessary haste. Without comparisons.
Instead, we create an environment where every child can develop at their own pace, build confidence, and discover a genuine love of learning.

Support

We know that choosing a school is also a matter of trust. That is why we maintain close and ongoing communication with parents, provide regular feedback, and work together to support each student’s growth and development.
We believe that the strongest educational outcomes are achieved when school and family work in partnership, creating a supportive environment in which every child can thrive.

Year 2

In Year 2, we focus on strengthening core academic foundations while nurturing each child’s independence and natural curiosity. At this stage, students gain greater confidence in reading, writing, and mathematics, and begin applying their knowledge in increasingly purposeful and meaningful ways.

Particular emphasis is placed on the development of language skills, introducing children to a multilingual environment in a natural, intuitive, and engaging way. Learning takes place through hands-on activities, projects, and collaboration, supporting not only academic progress but also the development of social and emotional skills.

This approach helps students become confident learners, effective communicators, and curious explorers of the world around them.

Trilingual Polish

Zerówka

In our Reception Year, delivered in accordance with the Polish national curriculum within a trilingual environment, we focus on the balanced development of each child—cognitive, emotional, and social.

We build school readiness by developing essential foundational skills, including early reading and writing, mathematical thinking, concentration, and independence. At the same time, children are introduced to foreign languages through natural daily communication, play-based learning, and engaging activities that encourage intuitive language acquisition without pressure.

This nurturing approach helps children develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards learning while laying strong foundations for future academic success.

Daily Schedule

A day at Kingsley School Kindergarten follows a clear structure and a calm, predictable rhythm that supports concentration, a sense of security, and effective learning.

The school day runs from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and includes academic learning, physical activities, project-based work, and time for rest and rejuvenation.

To foster a strong sense of community and ensure a comfortable learning environment, students wear school uniforms, helping them focus on what truly matters—learning, personal growth, and relationships.

In Reception Year, we follow a model of three days of in-person learning at school and two days dedicated to project-based and independent learning. This approach allows children to develop their interests and passions while strengthening their sense of responsibility, independence, and ownership of their learning.

Nutrition is an integral part of the school day, and shared meals help cultivate healthy habits while strengthening relationships within the school community.
