Support from a Psychologist and Speech Therapist

In our school, hybrid education is not only about modern organization of learning, but also about thoughtful and structured support for a child’s development. That is why an important role is played by a psychologist and a speech therapist, who work in the areas of observation, assessment, and consultation — without providing therapy.

Psychologist

The psychologist supports students, parents, and teachers in understanding children’s emotional, social, and educational needs. In the hybrid model, it is possible to observe students both during on-campus days and during home learning, which allows for a more comprehensive understanding of the child’s functioning.

The psychologist’s responsibilities include:

  • observing students in both the school environment and during homeschooling
  • initial identification of emotional, social, and adaptation-related challenges
  • individual consultations with students
  • consultations for parents and teachers
  • support in the adaptation and admissions process
  • conducting preventive and psychoeducational activities

The psychologist does not provide therapy — their role is to identify the child’s needs and recommend further steps if necessary.

Speech Therapist

The speech therapist is responsible for the prevention and assessment of speech and communication development, which is particularly important in an international environment and when learning in English.

The scope of the speech therapist’s work includes:

  • screening assessments of speech and language development
  • observation of students’ communication and language functioning
  • individual consultations with children
  • consultations for parents
  • supporting teachers in the area of language development
  • preparing recommendations for further external diagnosis if needed

The speech therapist does not provide therapy at school — their role is focused on early identification of difficulties and prevention.

Hybrid Consultations

The psychologist and speech therapist are available both on-site and online during scheduled consultation hours. This ensures that support is flexible and tailored to the needs of families, while remaining fully aligned with the hybrid education model.

We take a holistic approach to each child’s development — combining education, observation, and professional support to help students grow in a safe and thoughtfully designed learning environment.
